Shea is an aerospace and software engineer with an emphasis in spacecraft command and telemetry software. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer for Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Shea earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, where he also completed a Graduate Minor in Computational Science. Shea earned Bachelor's degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics and in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Dannie earned her Ph.D. in English Literature at Pennsylvania State University with a focus on Renaissance and 17th-century British Literature. She successfully defended her dissertation, Managing Midwives in Early Modern English Literature, on November 7, 2008, and received her doctorate in May 2009. She is currently working as a Senior Technical Writer for Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Dannie earned her Master's degree in English at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003, where she also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies.
